If you want to eliminate stress from your life, then all the stress management techniques in the world will not result in stress relief unless you want to change yourself. So if you want a stress pill like thing which when taken will take away all your stress, then this site may not help you much in your quest.

You simply cannot eliminate all the stressors in your life; no one can. Only one can dramatically reduce them, and thus manage stress for a better quality life.

But in the same breath, it is possible that you can completely eliminate stress. That is a state of mind that is so tranquil and calm that events and causes never have any damaging effect upon the person’s mind. It is not a very advanced technique, but regular and sincere meditation program can bring such changes in one’s life.

Stress may be the single biggest reason we get sick or die prematurely. Stress quietly builds up in our bodies day after day. If we ignore the buildup, stress will eventually take its toll. It affects physically, mentally and spiritually.

But a certain level of stress may be necessary and enjoyable in order to spark us into action. Many people take this into stride and use stress successfully to keep them going and achieving further.

Stress has different meaning for different people. A situation that is intolerable to one person may be stimulating to another. A stiff roller coaster ride may be very exhaustive to one person and exciting for other. What you feel is not just by events or changes in the outside world, but how you perceive and respond to them. And most important thing is one can learn to recognize his responses to stress and develop skills to deal with it.

Work related stress, stress of a student life particularly the exam pressure, post traumatic stress, emotional stress are among the most common. Most of the life’s complications appear to be beyond our control. Sometimes much of the stress can be avoided by taking a bit more control of life. And sometimes if it hits us, we can certainly learn to deal with it.
